Version of 6 October 2026
Solterra & Vine is a business name of Xscape Hospitality Pty Ltd (ACN 693 279 426, ABN 40 693 279 426), of 46 Hermitage Road, Maiden Gully VIC 3551.
In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" mean Xscape Hospitality Pty Ltd trading as Solterra & Vine. "You" means the purchaser or the holder of a gift card, as the context requires.

A Solterra & Vine gift card is a prepaid card issued by us for the value shown on it, redeemable for goods and services we supply. Cards are issued electronically (eGift cards) or as physical cards through our point of sale. Both are governed by these terms.
A gift card is not a credit, debit or cash card, is not a financial product, earns no interest, and carries no rights other than those set out in these terms and those given to you by law.
Gift cards may be purchased online or in person at the venue. Standard amounts are $100, $200, $500 and $1,000. Custom amounts are available from a minimum of $50 to a maximum of $1,500.
eGift cards are delivered by email or text message to the address or mobile number supplied by the purchaser, on the delivery date the purchaser chooses. We are not responsible for a card that fails to arrive because incorrect or inactive details were supplied, or because the message is filtered by the recipient's email or mobile provider. Contact us and we will resend the card to corrected details.
The value on a card is in Australian dollars and includes GST where GST applies to the goods or services ultimately purchased.
Solterra & Vine gift cards do not expire. The value remains available until it is redeemed in full.
This exceeds the minimum period required by section 99A of the Australian Consumer Law, which requires gift cards to be redeemable for at least three years from the date of supply.
No fees are charged after the card is purchased. We do not charge activation fees, account-keeping fees, inactivity or dormancy fees, balance enquiry fees, or any fee that reduces the value on the card.
This reflects section 99C of the Australian Consumer Law, which prohibits post-supply fees on gift cards. Where the law permits a limited category of charge (for example a surcharge for a particular payment method, or a delivery charge), it will be disclosed to you before you incur it. We do not charge to reissue a lost or stolen card, although the law would permit us to.
Gift cards are redeemable at Solterra & Vine, 46 Hermitage Road, Maiden Gully VIC 3551, against:
Gift cards may be used to pay a booking deposit or a function deposit.
To use a gift card towards homestead accommodation or glamping, contact us before you book and we will apply the card to your booking.
Gift cards cannot be redeemed for cash, and cannot be exchanged, refunded or returned for cash, except where the law requires it.
Gift cards may not be used to purchase another gift card.
Present the card before payment is processed. We cannot apply a card to a bill that has already been settled.
A card may be redeemed across more than one visit or transaction. Any unredeemed value remains on the card and is available for future use.
Where the purchase exceeds the value on the card, the difference must be paid by another accepted payment method.
No change or cash is given for an unredeemed balance.
The balance on a card can be checked at any time, free of charge, online through the link at solterravine.com.au/gift-cards, by contacting us, or by asking staff at the venue.
Holding a gift card does not reserve a table, a room, a glamping tent or a function date. All bookings are subject to availability and to our standard booking and cancellation terms, which apply in addition to these terms.
Our trading days and hours, menus, tariffs and available offerings change from time to time. A gift card gives no entitlement to a particular menu, product, price or trading period.
Liquor is supplied only in accordance with our liquor licence and our obligations under the Liquor Control Reform Act 1998 (Vic).
A gift card does not entitle any person to be served alcohol. We will refuse the supply of liquor to a person who is under 18, who cannot produce acceptable evidence of age, or who is intoxicated, and a gift card will not be redeemed for alcohol in those circumstances. The card itself retains its value.
Treat a gift card as you would cash.
If a card is lost, stolen or damaged, contact us. We will cancel the card and reissue the remaining balance free of charge where we are reasonably satisfied of the original purchase, for example by a receipt, an order confirmation email, or a record in our system.
We are not responsible for value redeemed by another person before the card was reported to us, and we are not responsible for a card that the holder has forwarded, shared, published or otherwise disclosed to another person.
Gift cards are transferable as gifts. A card may be used by the person who holds it.
Gift cards are not to be resold, traded, offered at auction, or used for advertising, promotional or competition purposes without our prior written consent.
We may refuse to accept, or may cancel, a gift card that we reasonably believe has been obtained fraudulently, altered, forged, duplicated, or used in breach of these terms. Where we cancel a card in these circumstances we will tell the holder why.
Gift cards are not refundable for change of mind.
Nothing in this clause limits your rights under clause 14.
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. For major failures you are entitled to a replacement or refund, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods or services remedied if they are not of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
To the extent permitted by law, our liability in connection with a gift card is limited to the unredeemed value on that card.
The value on a gift card is not held in trust or in a separate account. It forms part of our general funds.
If Xscape Hospitality Pty Ltd ceases trading, or enters voluntary administration, receivership or liquidation, the holder of a gift card with unredeemed value is an unsecured creditor of the company for that value, and may not recover it in full.
We may change these terms from time to time. Any change applies only to gift cards purchased after the change takes effect. The terms that applied when a card was purchased continue to apply to that card. The current version is always published at solterravine.com.au/gift-cards.
Personal information collected when a gift card is purchased or redeemed, including the purchaser's and recipient's names and email addresses, is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). We use it to issue and manage the card and to contact you about it.
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.
Contact us at hello@solterravine.com.au or (03) 7050 2550 and we will work with you to resolve the issue. You can also contact Consumer Affairs Victoria on 1300 55 81 81 or at consumer.vic.gov.au.
