The dining room
A vaulted ceiling, timber posts and the fireplace going through the cooler months. The room we set for dinner and for the Sunday crowd.

Dine · Brunch and dinner
Brunch across the weekend, dinner on Friday and Saturday, and a drinks list made to sit with the food. Four places to sit, one kitchen.
Where you sit
The dining room, the undercover veranda, the outdoor deck and a new patio out under the trees. Tell us where you would like to be when you book.

Just through the French doors from the dining room. Open-air in feel, and under cover whatever the weather decides to do.

Out in the open with the festoons strung overhead. The best seat on the estate for a slow brunch, and the first to fill on a warm morning.
NewOur newest space, set out under the trees on the front lawn. Made for long afternoons in the open air.
Seating preferences are a request, not a guarantee, because the weather has a say. Groups of 17 or more can book online, and dine on our set feed-me menu.
Trading hours
We trade three days a week. The bar and the kitchen keep different hours, so it is worth a look before you drive out.
Friday & Saturday, 3:00pm – 5:30pm
The kitchen is closed between brunch and dinner. The bar stays open, so come for a drink, but there is no food between 3:00pm and 5:30pm.

The kitchen
Few things on the plate, each one doing real work, and cooked with confidence. When the season turns, the menu turns with it.
Balgownie cared for this estate before us, and their wines are our house pours. The rest of the list is chosen to sit with the food, by the glass or by the bottle.
Where to find us
Fifteen minutes from the heart of Bendigo. Enter through the gate and travel up the olive-lined driveway. The restaurant and accommodation sit among the lawns and bushland, with parking on site.
